BIO
Jason Harris, long-haired rock star/guy-in-serious-need-of-a-haircut comes from Davis, California. Before he developed a passion for guitar, Jason had an inexplicable fascination with lawnmowers which, inexplicably, never developed into a discipline of mowing lawns. His early role models included Elvis, Rocky, and G.I. Joe. A birthday gift at age 10 changed Jason's focus and dreams. Jason began playing guitar at home, at church, with friends, and with his rock star dad, who happens to share the same name as Iron Maiden's bassist, Steve Harris. (Jason's dad is cooler.) In middle school, Jason formed rock band Uncle Tony, hailed as one of the top ten under-18 bands in the Sacramento area. During this time, he grew out his hair with reckless abandon. Jason participated as lead guitarist in Davis and Sacramento musical productions including Rent, Anything Goes, and Next to Normal before moving to Nashville in 2013.
Jason earned his degree with honors at Belmont University in Nashville in 2017, majoring in Music Business. Today, Jason is a live and session guitarist for several Nashville-based artists. He began touring with Universal Music Group/EMI Records Nashville artist Brandon Lay a month after graduation and has been on the Kenny Chesney Trip Around the Sun Stadium Tour, Old Dominion Happy Endings Tour, and Brantley Gilbert Fire't Up Tour.

Jason is currently on the road with Riser House artist Dillon Carmichael. They are on Cody Johnson's 2024 The Leather Tour.
